Short Functional Text is a short text that has particular meaning and purpose, and can be used in our daily life. It may be in the form of prohibition, invitation, greeting cards, short message, shopping list, notice, announcement, etc.

Types and Structure

1.Announcement
  • Opening (pembukaan) 
 This is the first structure in the announcement text. In general, the opening part of the announcement text will be marked with a title (title/type of event), greeting, purpose of the announcement, or an outline that will be conveyed in the contents of the announcement. You can write an attractive title to attract the attention of many people to read the announcement.
  • Content (isi)
 Yep, this is definitely a core part of the announcement text. Oh yes, not infrequently the content section is also called an explanation, guys. You can pour detailed information here to answer the what, where, when, and how questions.
  • Closing (penutup)
 Actually, the contents of the cover are quite diverse. Here, you can write appeals, additional information, contact persons, social media, calls to action, thanks, and closing greetings.

2. Advertisement
  •  Objective
 Purpose or purpose contains what is the purpose of the advertiser in promoting a product or service.
  •  Product name
 Product name or name of product, is about the name and brand. What products or services will be sold, or what activities will be promoted, and so on.
  •  Product users
 Product or service user (user), who needs the product or service? or the person to be targeted.
