Hello guys, how is it going? It'll be fine. Here I want a little story and talk about the material I learned during school. It must be fun, you can also learn on my blog. This is because the material presented is so easy to understand.

The matter this time is about tenses, and here it will also be explained about the definition and formula of tenses that will be easy for all of you to understand, so follow the fun of learning this time...

Tenses are changes in the form of verbs based on the time information and the nature of activities or events. Tenses are divided into 4 types, namely present, past, future, and future. The four groups were further divided into 16 tenses.

Here's the English Tenses Formula

  • Present Simple Tense (Simple Present)
Rumus: S + V1(s/es) + O
  • Present Continuous Tense (Present Progressive)
Rumus: S + am/is/are + V-ing + O
  • Present Perfect Tense
Rumus: S + have/has + V3 + O
  • Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Rumus: S + have/has + been + V-ing + O
  • Past Simple Tense (Simple Past)
Rumus: S + V2 + O
  • Past Continuous Tense (Past Progressive)
Rumus: S + was/were + V-ing + O
  • Past Perfect Tense
Rumus: S + had + V3 + O
  • Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Rumus: S + had + been + V-ing + O
  • Future Continuous Tense (Future Progressive)
Rumus: S + will + be + V-ing + O
  • Future Perfect Tense
Rumus: S + will + have + V3 + O
  • Future Perfect Continuous Tense
Rumus: S + will + have + been + V-ing + O
  • Future Simple Tense (Simple Future)
Rumus: S + will + V1 + O

 In addition to the above 12 tenses, there are also other tenses such as conditional tenses (if clause) and reported speech tenses, which require further understanding. However, by understanding and mastering these 16 tenses, you will have a strong foundation for communicating in English. Consistent exercise in using such tenses is also important to improve English fluency.
